"This was a very nice apartment with plenty of space for our group. The hosts were particularly accommodating in order to make sure that we had a great stay. However, I wanted to highlight once incident that I think illustrates the level of hospitality. On the morning that we were scheduled to leave (and had non-refundable train tickets), the New York area experienced record flooding. The manager called to see whether we were going to still attempt to leave; to which I said that we would. Upon leaving the building, the water on the street was knee-high and we were wondering how we would make it to Penn Station to catch our flight. At that point, the owner (who had been asked to help by the manager) showed up in his high centered jeep to rescue us and deliver us to dryer ground so that we could make our connection."
