The hotel had room service available, but the cleanliness was disappointing. The housekeeping staff did not change the bedsheets or pillow covers. they simply reused the old ones and just arranged the bed again. It didn’t feel fresh or properly cleaned at all.

I accidentally booked this hotel through Expedia and realized within minutes that I had selected the wrong dates. I immediately contacted the hotel directly to explain the situation and request either a cancellation or a date change. Unfortunately, the staff was completely uncooperative and unwilling to help, even though I reached out right after making the reservation. I understand that policies exist for a reason, but a bit of understanding and flexibility would have gone a long way—especially given that the booking error was caught almost instantly. The lack of empathy and refusal to assist left a very poor impression. I would strongly advise future guests to consider other options, as this hotel does not seem interested in providing reasonable customer support or working with guests in good faith. So disappointed.

Good location, meh hotel

Hair dryer was broken, and room felt pretty scuffed up with surfaces still a bit dirty like the toilet boil and floors. Room was quite small, but sheets and towels were clean. View of city was nice. Breakfast was on par for a lower quality hotel buffet breakfast. I didn't realize there were so many hidden fees, so I would have picked a slightly more expensive hotel if I had known that.

That completely different reality then on photos here . If I can submit real photos you will be shocked. Dirty walls , dirty floor, dirty shower, everything is old condition. No blanket in cold weather. It’s like transit area for million people around the world. It’s definitely not cost that money they asked . And they have to update real pictures of his rooms on here app . Not recommended to anyone

The biggest issue we ran into was it was either too hot or too cold in the room, followed by there not being a mini fridge or any way to have something cold to drink (we would have spent the extra money for one had it been an option). We stayed for NYCC so it wasn’t far from the Javitts center if you are okay with a short walk. The room was very clean, but the white desk and other white surfaces showed signs of nail polish or cosmetic stains (a problem for white surfaces, so it’s not something I hold against them, but some people may be turned off by it). The best touch was the towel warmer in the toilet area of the room, along with the lights surrounding the television. The room was spacious, I did not feel cramped like I have in previous hotel rooms in NYC. The toilet and the shower are separated by the vanity in the bathroom area of the room (there is not a separate room for the bathroom itself). The staff are very friendly, and if you don’t want to, you don’t have to interact as the system for check in and out is all done on tablets and without a check in desk. The layout of the hotel is different, as go to the fourth floor and then take different elevators up past the fourth floor (we stayed on the fourth floor, so we did not need to use the other elevators. Overall, the experience at the Yotel was great, although there are some things that would make the stay more enjoyable.
