From someone who typically stays in luxury hotels, I was pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn. The location is great if you are doing the tourist spots like Time Square and Rockefeller Center, there is a parking garage around the corner that gives a discounted rate with validation and there is security 24 hours. The staff was great, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The showers were nice and everything was clean. The only downside we experienced was taking the elevators at busy times. We were on the 3rd floor so one morning when I was going to lobby with my bags, I had to wait for 6 elevators coming from top floors to be able to get the lobby as the were all packed. That only happened once though. Solid stay for that part of the city at that price point.

Staff was very, very rude. Checked our bags while we went out for the day and our luggage got lost and the lady was so hateful didn’t wanna help us. Didn’t even wanna look for our bags got mad because we asked her why she didn’t keep our luggage together. Rolled her eyes at us the whole time very short and hateful.

I requested an early check in and was told on the phone the room would be ready when I arrived. It wasn't, but was told it would in the next 1/2 hour. Over an hour later, I went in to check in and it still wasn't ready. The front desk clerk took so long looking for an available room, I received a $115 parking ticket.

Nice property. They definitely need a sign for the entrance. Its very easy to miss. The front desk staff were PHENOMENAL. I had an issue with my card and Sharee was super patient, helpful and friendly. Efficient too. Rocky was a GEM and very very nice. Im from NYC AND a Hospitality Director, so they made me proud and happy with their service. It was a quick stay for me but a great one.
