My last night in NYC was saved thanks to HI at Times Square! My husband had us booked all week in a Super 8 in the Bronx. We really wanted to stay near Times Square so this was ideal! We felt safe and they held our luggage until 5pm the day we flew out which was incredible!

My wife and I were treated well by staff, especially Rocky at the front desk and Jr from security. However, both my wife and I had some type of allergic reaction to something in your room, 1907. It was probably something in the carpet or the bed sheets. My wife had a few bumps on her face and I had bumps on my knee, feeling itchy. Excellent staff, just may want to address the cause of irritation in the room. Thank you.

Great location with great food options and attractions in walking distance. Super clean. The area in front is a « public space » for some reason and at times people are loitering in front, smoking, etc. There is always a security guard in the public space so that is very reassuring. Don’t let the public space deter you from this gem!

Very close to the subway and very convenient around the city. The room is clean but there’s no hot water in the bathroom. Staff asked for security deposit and said that it’ll be refunded upon checking out but 5 weeks later there’s still no refund. Very bad.

The hotel room itself, while small, was actually really nice. The bed was short but comfortable. The cleaning staff had inexplicably left the window open on a rainy night in NYC which left the room feeling humid but once we closed it the room cooled down very quickly. The room looked great and I would expect that the higher floors (we were on the 8th) have great views. The onsite restaurant was pretty good as well. The lobby is tiny and kind of shabby looking. The biggest issue is that the lobby is set way back from Broadway with what might be a nice sitting area outside if there was any control of it. As it is, it ends up being a public gathering area making entering and exiting the hotel unpleasant at times. We had to leave at 1:00 am for a delayed flight and stepped out into a group of 10-15 arguing youths screaming obscenities at one another and seemingly on the verge of breaking into an all-out brawl. If the hotel were to expand the lobby out to the street it would greatly improve the entire experience and remove the gathering space that attracted the loud, obnoxious group of youths.

We when out early and walked to our favorite places, no need of car or parking! Also have dinner at hotel restaurant. We really recomend it.
