If you want a great location hotel within walking distance of all amenities then this should be your choice. We were able to walk to all major tourist stops and so close to subway as well. The staff are superb. From Franklin at the front door to Melody at the front desk they are very professional and very helpful. The choice of the breakfast to go at Bond 45 and at Carve were an added bonus. Our room was very clean and quiet for being so close to time square but smaller than I thought it would be. For the amount of time we were in the room it was fine. The reason I gave it a 9/10 was because the heater was extremely loud and made a lot of noises. We tried to just keep it off but it would still make a lot of noise and turn on. The bed was very comfortable and the bonus little treats we got in the room with a bottle of wine was a perfect added touch that hit our munchies cravings. The hotel was very busy but they always made a point to greet us with a smile. The hotel itself is a little outdated but I believe that is the look they are going for. Great Gatsby era. Nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Edison. The hotel was clean and in good condition. We appreciated the Grab and Go breakfast. My granddaughter liked that the cleaning staff took good care of her stuffed animals and arranged them nicely on the bed. Our only complaint was a clicking sound in the wall behind our bed. We think it might have been water turning on and off in an adjoining room. It was a little disturbing at night. For the most part, we had a great stay.

Superb helpful & cordial staff, very well-trained. The rooms are clean and roomy, at least for Manhattan. The in-house restaurant options are excellent. We stay here 7-20 nights a year and it’s interesting that employee turnover is low: we see the same friendly faces year after year, a wonderful constant in the hectic world of travel.
