DO NOT STAY HERE - $500 Smoking Charge scam. Many reviews describe this same problem. I am all for not smoking or vaping, and the intentions of the monitoring systems are good. However, they don't work or are intended to rip people off. My wife has stage 4 cancer, and we have never done these things. Great surprise ending to a fantastic NYC trip.

This property has a great location. You’re close to the subway and several theaters. If you are interested in going to Times Square, it’s a few blocks away. Everything was clean and the room was spacious. Great staff! I would rebook this hotel.

Stayed at the hotel on a family trip to New York. 6 people, two rooms, older kids (20’s and teenagers). Hotel staff was very attentive, informative about the stay/surrounding area), and helpful with getting us settled and with our departure. The area was close to everything we needed and was proximate to subways when we needed to go elsewhere. Clean rooms and comfortable beds with great common areas around the lobby. The morning cafe was wonderful for coffee and a quick breakfast option, and the connection to the So-So lounge gave us a great option for live music and a cocktail one evening. We will definitely stay here again

Love this location—close to so much. Staff is great, but there are some downsides. 1) no in room coffee, you have to buy it from their cafe; 2) if you rent a suite hoping to use the pull out bed, ask for a roll away bed instead. The sofabed is beyond terrible.
