Let me start by saying I really liked the property, it's fun, hip and well suited for the young urban traveler. Not to mention it has an awesome garden and roof deck. One of the few places with communal spaces I've visited lately. The house keeping staff was great, but unfortunately i can not say the same about the rest.
Let's put aside the sky-high prices for what is supposed to be a stay-on-the-budget establishment that bridgea the gap between hostel and hotel - around $300 a night for a bunk bed room with a shared bathroom and nearing $500 for a single pod with a private bathroom.
I had to extend my reservation twice while staying there. I ended up *having* to change rooms both times - both times the front desk told me around 12pm - "bring out your things and wait here, we don't have a room for you." When I asked if I can stay in my current room until one is available the answer was no. The second time around I called to extend and I was told there is only a single pod with a shared bathroom available for about $500. I went online to find out there were plenty of other room types including the one i was in at the time. I booked there what i thought was a full pod, but I probably overlooked. The cost of the downgraded room ~ $450/night. When I went to check-in I was told I have to change rooms, since I booked a different type and the same "bring your luggage down and wait" response. When I asked if I can keep my current room the answer was an immediate "no" followed by,
