Overall the experience was good at the Belvedere and we might stay there again. Its a great location! And the microwave and small kitchen area in the room is helpful. It is not a pretentious place which we would not want. The biggest problem was where we were placed right next to an elevator which made noise and caused some sleep problems. We didnt feel particularly welcome in changing rooms at the front desk. And the elevators were slow, some werent working.

Great hotel with amazing staff!

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Belvedere Hotel! The staff was incredibly accommodating from the moment we arrived, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the overall atmosphere made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for families visiting New York — we’ll definitely stay again!

Terrible elevator service

There was absolutely terrible elevator access. Could take 20 minutes up or down from top floors and there was no room for anyone below 10th floor. Great location though. BE SURE TO ASK FOR A 3RD FLOOR ROOM unless all the elevators are actually working!

I had a very large corner king room.SO lucky for NYC. Its just an older hotel it really needs to be modernized a bit. The drapes dont close and the blinds dont close. The tiny kitchentte had no dishes, cutlery nothing. No coffee/hot water nothing. Best water pressure! Just needs brightening up. SO grateful for all the elevators as there were loads of people there that week i was there.

Clogged bathtub. Quite old apartments. Decrepit condition. No coffee, plates, cups or anything. Rain hitting old AC unit and making very loud noise. Not great insulation. Couldn’t sleep much
