"We stayed at The Grove from 3/17-3/22 with our 5 childrens (ages13, 13, 9, 8 and 9 months old) and we had a lovely experience.
The rooms are spacious, the kitchen was fully stocked (even had wine glasses and a wine key, which I appreciated), and the washer and dryer were really helpful to have. I can't remember the name of the guy that checked us in (I want to say David... but I'm not positive) - but, he was delightful - very helpful, welcoming and positive.
The only restaurant we ate at on the resort was Valencia and the food wasn't spectacular, but it was okay. We took advantage of the kitchen and did a bunch of cooking in our room.
The water park was a blast - We spent time in the lazy river, speeding down the slides and my teenagers LOVED the surf simulator and it's instructor, Chelsea - she was so helpful and patient with them. The bartender Jon whipped me up a few drinks that were delicious and made me wish we would've spent more time at Surfari.
The grounds were clean and well kept and all employees were super friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed anything.
The ONLY thing I didn't like was the lack of signage. It was reallllllllly confusing getting around. We resorted to just using the path that goes around the whole resort, rather than trying to navigate the buildings and hallways.
When we come back, we will definitely look into staying at The Grove again! "
