Taking a flight from Windsor Locks, Connecticut, to sunny Florida may be for business or pleasure, but a visit to Orlando offers many attractions, and opportunities to have fun. If you have reliable transportation, such as a car, you can take advantage of everything at your own pace.
If you choose you can pick up a rental car direct from Orlando International Airport (MCO). After, you can relax for a while and then head to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios for a bit of adventure. The Kennedy Space Center is also a short drive from MCO, where you can check out the exhibits and see if you have what it takes to be an astronaut.
Many hotels in Orlando are located just north of MCO, and you can use Highway 528 to quickly access the areas theme parks. If you want to check out what’s going on in the city, hop on Interstate 4 and head north. Orlando International is about 40 minutes away from the city center.
A non-stop flight from Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Orlando will take about 2 and a half hours. Most rental car carriers at MCO are located in Terminals A and B on the ground level.
