I recently stayed at the Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort & Conference Center. The room itself was clean, but definitely outdated and could use some upgrades. What really affected my stay was the lack of room service unless you request it after midday, which isn’t convenient. On top of that, calling the front desk was frustrating because no one ever seemed to answer. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t great — definitely room for improvement.

The staff at front desk was a black women, she was so friendly and helpful! The room was ok. They dont provide roomservice everyday but we stayed 4 nights, and i thought its weird that they didnt have a policy to schrdue a every other day clean up. So if you need room service, we were told to inform 24hrs in advance.

Our stay on November 15, 2025 was one of the most unsettling hotel experiences I’ve ever had. • After check in, we enjoyed the pool bar (special thanks to bartender Vic for his hospitality). • Later that night, we were abruptly awakened by someone trying to enter our room — security confirmed the hotel had overbooked. • The manager admitted the issue but told us to “take it up with Expedia,” showing little concern for our safety. • We left at 1:47 AM, called police for assistance, and eventually secured a room at the Hilton Orlando at 2:06 AM, costing us an extra $243. While Wyndham refunded the original booking, this did not cover the additional expense or the trauma of feeling unsafe in our room. Management later offered a free future stay, but that does not address the financial loss or the seriousness of the incident. Bottom line: Guests should never be placed in occupied rooms or left feeling unsafe. A refund alone is not enough — accountability and genuine concern for guest safety are what’s missing here.

Free parking. Convenient location between Disney world and universal studio. There are free shuttles to the theme parks with reservations. No breakfast but the largest MacDonald in the world is nearby. There are many other restaurants. The lobby is fancy. But the hotel is a little noisy because it is next to the free way. There are people hanging out downstairs late at night, which is a little annoying.

The lobby and main areas of the hotel where nice and clean. The room on the other hand was not quite so nice. It was extremely old and had not been kept up on, the room stunk like cleaner. As everyone enjoys a clean room, smelling the cleaner the entire time you're in the room is a bit much

Went out for the day come back to find maintenance guy laying in my bathroom to all the bathroom wall out plaster dust everywhere and they never contacted us and let us know he was entering our room we made them give us another room and why we're there staff come in with towels never even knocked just walked in on us
