I recently stayed at the Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort & Conference Center. The room itself was clean, but definitely outdated and could use some upgrades. What really affected my stay was the lack of room service unless you request it after midday, which isn’t convenient. On top of that, calling the front desk was frustrating because no one ever seemed to answer. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t great — definitely room for improvement.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The check-in process took an extremely long time due to the crazy long line when I arrived. Once I finally got to my room, it was not clean — the bathroom and bathtub were dirty, and the overall condition of the room showed it needs repairs and updates. The place feels dingy and poorly maintained. This hotel might be fine if you’re coming to party or just need a spot to crash, but I would definitely not recommend it for a family stay.

This property was dirty. It had broken elevators. The walls were thin, and you could hear people in the next room having relations all night long there were cookies and trash in the stairwell that were not cleaned up the entire time we were there which was three days the staff gave out incorrect information About shuttle services to Universal Studios

We went to Halloween Horror nights and checked-in at 3 am after Universal closed, the lady by the lobby asked me for hotel tax plus a deposit, which was weird because the tax was already paid on Expedia, nevertheless I paid for it because we were exhausted. She processed the payment and when checking the transactions I found out I got charged for almost twice the mentioned fee . That’s illegal that you guys are charging me extra without notifying me. The answer I got was that I was charged for no-show , but clearly it eas not the case because I was there and the never send a message or call. I don’t recommend this hotel and I will never stay there again.

Hotel was really comfortable and clean. Bed very comfy and rooms are nice and spacious. Bathroom needs an upgrade but other than that it was beautiful. Loved the view of the pool and volcano bay super pretty to wake up to everyday. Would highly recommend! They keep it very clean.

The room smelt like mold every time you came back( too be honest it may have been the drains making the smell bc you can’t hold your head over the sink when brushing your teeth bc a horrid smell comes from the drain). The toilet takes forever to flush and you have to hold the handle down to get it to fully flush. One of the beds were pulled away from the wall upon arrival so we pushed it back and when we did we discovered a huge rust like spill underneath all over the floor. The bath tub did not have a drain cover that actually fit in it. The alarm clock said 5 am upon arrival (it was midnight). I fixed the time but by the time we woke up the cloak was off by a couple hours again. I continued to do this however the clock kept malfunctioning. The pillows were comfortable and they gave plenty of them which was nice bc the beds were quite hard. The part of our trip that made us boom was the shuttle service however after arrival they tell you to make the reservation to use the service through concierge. We called for over 6 hours without a single answer. Finally I call the front desk where the lady was extremely rude scolding me for calling her. She said I would have to wake up at 7 am to come down to the office to schedule the shuttle. We ended up getting an uber bc it was insane. They are not available at the hours they claim to be to be able to book. Pool area was nice. Bar and cafe were nice and quick with fast and friendly servi
