I recently stayed at the Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort & Conference Center. The room itself was clean, but definitely outdated and could use some upgrades. What really affected my stay was the lack of room service unless you request it after midday, which isn’t convenient. On top of that, calling the front desk was frustrating because no one ever seemed to answer. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t great — definitely room for improvement.

Rooms had no tables or chairs inside it was noisy, stairwells dirty no elevators! Staff rude and put me in the wrong room and then proceeded to tell me they were under construction!! But after a long hold time said rooms were showing available on line really??? Pillows were pieces of foam thrown in a pillow case!! Water dripping everywhere cement walk ways had water all over them! The doors you could see right thru them and you could smell pot and cigarettes even though it said no smoking!! Their tower rooms were scary!! Never again and would not recommend!! And the ck in guy said they aren’t part of Wyndham??? Then why does it say that on he sign?? False advertising!!

Deceiving pictures online of what hotel looks like

Don’t be deceived by the pictures. The lobby is quite nice but once you exit the lobby and head to to were where the actual rooms/tower is…..IT IS AWFUL! The room was not clean…full of mold, lack of everything. The elevator also worked when it wanted to. There was one night that we needed to use the staircase (not a big deal) but when your hauling strollers and all sorts of popcorn buckets, cups, bags with purchases, park items it is not fun trying to get to your room on the 4th floor or in that case anything on the higher floors.

Poor service

The staff was not the best. I was there for a quick business trip and only required 1 night stay. The front desk agent Meghan didn't return my driver's license when I checked in and failed to notify me until I left the city. I asked the supervisor Micheal to overnight my ID and was told to contact USPS myself to arrange this. The hotel is decent for a quick stay but needs updating especially the grounds.

Extremely dirty room is like people sitting in the hall ways of the rooms as like they live there and bathroom was super dirty and people walking shirtless in the hotel building is crazy. Feels very unsafe.

We came into this property with minimal expectations but I was disappointed regardless. The worst part about this stay was the dishonest amenities. Expedia lists daily housekeeping, once you are checked in they inform you that housekeeping is not standard and can be schedule with 24 hours notice. The tower is separate from the main hotel and is supposed to have its own cafe open daily. This cafe did not open all weekend. The pool bar was stated to open at 11am with signs at the bar to use lobby bar until they open, the lobby bar was also closed. When 11am came around, the both bars remained closed. We went to the lobby desk to inquire as to what time they would be open and that’s when we were told the lobby bar would not be opening until 5pm and the pool bar at 12pm. Overall you get what you pay for and as a budget hotel, this stay was worth it. But come in with low expectations and don’t expect things to be open at the times the hotel lists, if at all.
