It is home to the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which is located in Temple Square. Other notable attractions are the Utah Olympic Park and Wasatch National Forest.
The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the primary airport that serves the city, and it’s about 10 to 15 minutes from the downtown area. The Utah Transit Authority provides train routes to the airport. In addition to its lively downtown, Park City is a popular city to visit, and is located approximately 30 minutes away from Salt Lake City.
The Sundance Film Festival is one of the most renowned annual festivals in the United States, and Park City hosts this event every year. Because Salt Lake City has an abundance of snow during the winter months, it's an excellent destination to enjoy skiing. There are several award-winning ski resorts that are located near the downtown area. You can also find well-known breweries and distinguished fine dining establishments.
