Flights to Salt Lake City arrive at the Salt Lake City International Airport, which is only ten minutes from downtown. It is one of the major hubs to the west with 10 airlines scheduling daily Salt Lake City flights. While waiting for flights to Salt Lake City, visitors can stop in one of the airport shops or eat at one of the many restaurants. One of the highlights is the Squatters Airport Pub, which originates from Squatters Pub Brewery from downtown. You can also pass the time by logging into the airport's free Wi-Fi until you are ready to board. For visitors with children, you can take your kids to one of the play areas in the concourses.
You can experience any of the four seasons, depending on when you choose one of the Salt Lake City flights. Weather can change in a moment, so it is advised that you wear layers for the best comfort. You will find plenty of snow for skiing in the winter, but the temperatures are not as cold as you might expect. Flights to Salt Lake City experience minimal delay due to the aggressive runway cleaning procedures of the airport. Colors are vibrant in the autumn and summer can be hot.
Parking is limited downtown and expensive; if you are looking for cheap travel, you might want to consider public transportation to get around Salt Lake City.
