There was a large hairball behind our bathroom door. On entering our room it was very cold! Temp was set at 65 and we tried to adjust it but no go. Two hours after being so cold the maintenance workers switched out 3 window units before we had heat. WHY didn't they move us to another, warm room???

Horrible experience. Construction going on inside on all floors. Booked an accessible room with two beds for my handicapped son and they put us in a regular room. I had booked the room at least a month earlier and my reservation said Accessible. Told no handicap rooms available with two beds but I could purchase another room that he could stay in down the hall! He’s legally blind and walks with double arm crutches. The construction in the hallways was so bad there was less than two feet clearance in some spaces and electrical cords everywhere. So unsafe even for people without handicaps. I wish I could post the pictures here. It was unbelievable. Plaster dust hanging in the air. Hallways leading to emergency exits blocked with plastic. Cords, equipment, tools everywhere. Just horrible. And the woman at the desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. She said there should have been a notice when booking that construction was going on. There wasn’t. She said it was because I booked through Expedia so that wasn’t Holiday Inn’s fault. No manager around. Never again. Even with no construction going on, I will never book here again. Horrible, horrible experience.

We were looking for a property that was pet friendly but clean and safe. This property far exceeded our expectations. It was not only clean and well maintained but updated and felt much more luxurious than you would expect from the price pont. The service was was outstanding. It is very convenient to the interstate and we found it easily in the dark (which is a big deal for weary travelers). Breakfast selections were plentiful and fresh. A very pleasant surprise.

The property was not well maintained. I was placed on the third floor. When the elevators opened, it was a dusty concrete floor with carpeting stripped. There were still carpet tack strips everywhere with tacks sticking out. The pool - which was nice to have - had water pooling all over the floor in the room and not draining. The hot tub jets weren't working and paint was peeling everywhere. Just felt like a generally neglected property.

Parking is $8 per day. I did not see this cost when I booked. We stayed here after a long flight from Asia before beginning our long drive home the next morning . Our room was noisy all night with highway noise. Housekeeping entered my room at 9:30am after they could not hear me answer when they knocked. Check out is 11 am so I am not sure why the urgency to enter my room. I absolutely would not stay here again. The hotel next door is cheaper, has free parking and gets good reviews. For an overnight airport stay, there are plenty of other options with good reviews, quieter locations, and cheaper prices.

Surprising

It was a bit of a surprise when we got up to our floor and found construction happening. There were bits of plaster on the carpet and baseboards missing all along the floor. If we had been told, we would have been prepared. Also, there was some kind of flashing devise that the front desk person had to come up and disable for us. Stay was still comfortable and quiet.

Morning staff did not care that visibily homeless people were sticking their hands in the breakfast. The only reason we stayed here is because holiday inns usually have great breakfast. Very unfortunate. The night staff was very nice. Will not be staying here again.
