Compare Hotels with Air Conditioning in Downtown Boston

"This AKA has a great location. The hotel is close to the Green, Red, and Orange T lines. There are great restaurants and shopping just around the corner. And, there is history all around- the Freedom Trail is right there. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff knows customer service. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. My only disappointment was there was no common area to sit and relax. There is a small lobby area and a small bar as you enter the hotel. The AKA Backbay has a huge common/living area but the location isn’t as good as the Boston Common location for a tourist. "

"THE WORST EXPERIENCE It was undoubtedly the worst experience I had in a hotel traveling for 40 years. A Portable air conditioner I couldn't turn on because it was so loud, no soap in the bathroom shower, a sink that was clogged, the place smelt musty and a noisy area. Not to mention the hotel doesn't inform you when there is roadworks right outside working to 2am in the morning. The hotel is old smelly and should be rated as a 1 or 2 star hotel. I LEFT in the middle of the night to find better accommodation and wasted my money here. "
