The Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) Airport can be found on the Kensington Expressway. Buses, taxis and shuttles all make their way to the airport frequently. Flight times are usually an hour to Boston Logan International (BOS) Airport. When you arrive, the Logan Express can take you right into downtown Boston or you can opt for the Blue Line Subway or even the Silverline Bus Rapid Transit to get to your final destination.
There is plenty of see and do in Boston including the Freedom Train. Slightly under three miles, you can walk to see several important historical sites including the home of Paul Revere and the Bunker Hill Monument. The Boston Public Garden is less than a mile away from the trail and allows you to escape the busy atmosphere of the city. Right next door is Boston Common, the oldest public park in the United States. Sports fans will want to make a quick stop at Fenway Park, especially if the Red Sox baseball team is playing. Even outside of the season, you can still take a tour.
Because of all the walking and outdoor activities, June to about November is a great time to visit Boston. The weather seems perfect. Summers can be busy but there are many things to do that will spread visitors out across the city. Winters are cold and snowy.
