We often stay at the Bostonian when arriving at Logan Airport due to its walkable proximity to the North End & excellent dining. Great location across from Faneuil Hall. Our room had a balcony with a nice view. Valet, bell service, front desk, all super helpful & friendly. Enjoyed our stay & will return.

We paid over $500 each night for our weekend stay in Boston at the Bostonian only to get a room where the heater did not work at all. It was 40° in the mornings. They told us the hotel was going through some renovations, and at least half of the rooms did not have working heaters. The maintenance man was unable to repair it, and the hotel was sold out, so there were no other rooms. Jerry at the front desk was nice enough to loan us his floor space heater. Very disappointing that you would pay that much for a hotel room and have to be uncomfortable. Won't be back. If they were aware, there was a heater issue in multiple rooms, why did they sell out all the rooms? TERRIBLE!!!!!

This hotel suites our needs very well. We spent one night after a cruise and it was close to all of the things we wanted to see and many options for places to eat! The front seat staff & porters were amazing!

Great location, spacious rooms and reasonably clean facility. The $30 destination fee is just outright offensive and a rip off when the room rate is $350 per night. The destination fee includes “amenities” that are already incorporated into the per night room charge. Get real!

I loved the location! It’s on the Freedom trail and across from Quincy Market so food and music was easy to find in the evening!! The staff was friendly and helpful including the valet. He gave me tips on where not to go after a certain time!

Excellent location to Faneuil Hall! The Hotel needs work. We ended up switching rooms because the AC didn't work and the water faucet didn't work. The second room had holes in the curtain, and was missing artwork over the desk. The room desperately needs renovation and updated. The white sheet had a stain, and the glass bathroom pocket door was filthy. The front desk never answers the phone so you have to go down to speak with them directly. The area is heavily trafficked with tourists, but the area is GREAT! So, thats expected. This was my second stay at this hotel and there have been no updates to the property that I could tell. Aging and buckled wallpaper and overall needs some updating and maintenance. With the location of the hotel, they can get away with these needs. Will I stay there again? Yes, the location is the reason. I would like to compliment the restaurant there, and the bellman. Both were top notch!

Perfect location for seeing historic Boston

The location of the Bostonian Hotel was perfect for seeing the historic sites, restaurants, and iconic neighborhoods. Everything is within walking distance and the hotel in in the center of everything. The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

The Bostonian is a nice property set in an ideal location for any North End activity. Across the street from Fanuiel Hall and its shops as well as a short walk to Little Italy. We found the bar too expensive but the Hotel is surrounded by historic tavern’s so I would recommend exploring the area anyway.

Managed like a typical 3 star hotel off the highway somewhere. Litter on the ground in the valet area, filthy hard to see through windows in the rooms, old and dingy looking carpet in hallways and rooms. Dark and dingy decore. They initially put us in a basement room (do Not accept a room on Floor 2) which was dark and depressing with tiny windows looking up into the alley. We asked to be moved and they gave us a better room on the fourth floor, but the very small windows were so dirty you could not enjoy the view. Some genius decided the room needed a skylight, but at night you can't see anything and as soon as the sun comes up they entire room is blasted by sunlight, so forget about sleeping late. The air conditoner froze and stopped functioning so I woke up in a pool of sweat. Didn't help that the mattress pad was a plastic sheet that made it extra hot. The mini fridge was broken and the room phone was broken (probably to make complaining harder). The entire staff was foreign. Pleasant enough that's for sure, but it definitely felt like staying at a semi-third world hotel- kinda like an old resort in the Carribean and definitely not like in one of America's great cities. But I guess they have to save money somehow, so why not hire cheap foreign labor- because I can't imagine they can count on repeat business.
