Great location but meh rooms

Staff was nice but couldn’t open balcony door and no soap at all on site. Rooms could have been cleaner and beds were not comfortable.

I liked the staff. Very accommodating and pleasant. My only issue is that the restaurant, North 26 is horrible. Food does not taste good, service is abysmal at best and overpriced. I thought $86.00 for 2 orders of eggs with bacon and home fries was extreme. Eggs came out of a carton for sure. Didn’t taste or feel like real eggs.

Great Stay, But Checkout Experience Was Disappointing I had a mostly positive stay, but the checkout process was frustrating. Upon check-in, I was given breakfast vouchers, which I accepted without question, as I’ve received similar perks with my Amex in the past. I used the two vouchers with no issue. However, at checkout, the front desk staff questioned me multiple times about how I received the vouchers, asking details about who gave them to me and the cost of my meals. Things escalated when they told me I shouldn’t have accepted them and should have known better. After 30 minutes of back-and-forth, they finally agreed to apply the vouchers to my room. The rest of my stay was great: the valet staff was excellent, the room was clean, and the location was perfect, across from Quincy Market. However, the unpleasant checkout experience left a sour note.

Not ideal. Location is okay overall

The room is okay, and the location is good for tourists, in the middle of The Freedom Trail. But the wall paper is split, the bathroom is dusty, the towels are raggedy, the shower leaks and soaks the floor. The check in wasn’t welcoming or helpful. There’s no body wash, just shampoo and conditioner. When we asked night 1, we were told “they” would bring it up shortly. “They” never did. The next day, we were told it was because of tariffs. Also, the valets smoke and our car smells terrible now. And twice they didn’t receive our text to get the car.

Location is great but loud city streets into the night if on the outside rooms. Hotel could use a big update. Wallpaper peeling, bathrooms not very clean, furniture nicked and old. Mattress uncomfortable. Can not control the temp. Was so hot to sleep. But again sometimes for 1 night you sacrifice. Wouldn’t stay more than 1

Untrained front desk staff

Rooms are pretty old and need renovation. AC stops working during day. Staff is unfriendly and not trained at all. Had to ask for every single details. Front desk staffs should be trained and replaced.
