"The good: The free Airport Shuttle and Cruise Port Shuttles were why we booked here and those worked out great! Water pressure and temperature were great in the shower (not something I can say for other more expensive lodging in Fort Lauderdale). Pool was open so if you’re a Northerner then maybe you’ll go in(not heated). If you’re looking for a place to sleep the night before your cruise this would be a great choice! The hotel next door had a great bar/restaurant with happy hour specials that we enjoyed.
The not so good: everything is showing signs of wear/use here. Rusty metal, carpet stains, etc. Like much of Florida, not very walk-friendly. We walked 2-miles one-way to a grocery store for wine and seltzers for the cruise. Most of that was on roads without sidewalk. So budget in some Uber trips if you want to go anywhere. "
