"This hotel is in an ideal location for anyone wanting to stay on the upper west side. I found the beds quite comfortable because they're slightly softer than the typical hotel. The HVAC rattled a lot and the sound of other people's doors opening/closing was also noisy."

"We We stayed at Hotel Belleclaire for one night from Tuesday, March 10 to Wednesday, March 11, and the experience was terrific. I would give it five stars. We loved the historic character of the hotel, and our room was surprisingly spacious for New York City. The $10 complimentary café gift card was a nice touch, and the tangerines at the front desk were a welcoming detail. The staff was excellent, especially Marc at the front door, who helped us with our car. We used the valet parking, which was only a few dollars more than self-parking and absolutely worth it in the city. Marc was professional, attentive, and very helpful while we waited briefly for the car. The location was also incredibly convenient. We walked to a show at the Beacon Theatre, had dinner with friends just across the street, and Central Park is only a few blocks away. A wonderful stay overall—we will definitely be back."
