We stayed for only one night (it was supposed to be three nights, but we quickly left after the first night because the hotel room was so rundown) on Dec 11th. The lobby of the hotel is quite nice and front desk. Staff were nice. The room was a whole other thing. For context, my expectation of the hotel room was based on the price we were paying which was almost $1300 per night. I know it's a busy time in New York and the hotel rooms are expensive, but I've stayed at many hotels in New York and I had at least an expectation of a decent room for that price. The room was very rundown like peeling paint and stains in the ceiling really stale carpet and the washroom was like a very bad dorm washroom. Teeny tiny and absolutely gross in terms of the paint peeling and wood chipped and everything just very old. We had two double beds in our room and again I can make the best of anything and I was travelling with my two daughters, but the beds were like concrete blocks. They barely had any covers on them like very, very thin duvets and the pillows were absolutely horrible. I honestly could not believe it. The heat was very poorly working as well. Also there is no security. Anyone can get on any floor. As i have said, i do not complain or write reviews ever but this was so awful for the price. We left the next morning. I wish i could upload a video of how bad it was. Unacceptable.

Overall the bed and shower was good, clean room, could do with an upgrade, mainly at hotel just to sleep due to being out all day, we did have 2 rooms and one of them didn’t have a fridge and safe, we asked for them however no safe arrived and fridge was added the night before we where leaving, a bit disappointing. Roof top bar was good with great views. The room we had looked onto other bedrooms to no view at all, that was disappointing.

The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in. Especially for the cost. The TV never worked properly as it was old and was very dim. They sent someone up to fix but it was never fixed.The staff left my girlfriend on hold then hung up on her and the bar at the rooftop which was a big selling point was closed to the public 3 of the 4 days I was there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and was thrilled when I checked out.

Honestly, if I were not going to have to spend Christmas in Ny, I would have never thought of this hotel. I hated my stay. + There were hidden fees even after the amount I paid.

Room was old and smelled odd. Room service was non existent. We didn’t have a working toilet, no shampoo, no hand soap in the dispensers after asking multiple times. Not worth the price. We had to go down to the lobby and wait for them to send room service otherwise it wasn’t done. Will never recommend or stay again
