"This was my 5th stay. While there were some minor declines in overall experience, I still love this property and the staff is usually great. Disappointed they aren’t keeping restaurants open (the ones you reserve) on a regular basis. We paid for those as part of our trip but couldn’t get into any we wanted to."

"This is the second time being at Ocean Riviera Paradise and it did not disappoint. The staff are extremely friendly and interactive. They get to know your name and chat with you often. They are positive and create a friendly and active atmosphere. The pools, bars, karoake, bowling, shows, the gym, the basketball, tennis, baseball and of course the buffet are amazing. The ocean area is clean, transportation around the resort is easy and there continues to be so much to do and see. The rooms are amazing. We had a swim up pool and took advantage of the water in the early morning. Thank you again to all the staff for the amazing stay. First a wedding and this time a bachelor party. We'll see you again. "I had a terrible experience with Expedia and Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. I accidentally booked the wrong Hard Rock property, then realized my group was at a different location and booked the correct one. This left me with two reservations for the same night. Within minutes, I contacted Expedia to cancel the incorrect booking and request a refund. After multiple follow-ups, I was told the hotel did not respond, and I was stuck paying nearly $600 for a reservation I booked by mistake. Expedia said there was nothing they could do because the hotel wasn’t cooperating. This is extremely frustrating. I acted immediately to fix an honest mistake, yet neither Expedia nor the hotel helped. I feel completely let down and will think twice before booking through Expedia again."
