"Pros: Staff, layout, restaurant availability, small but intimate, an effort with activities, gym, tennis and pickle ball with bikes available. Property is kept up with, bars, beach cabanas and shows, rooms are huge. Cons: the beach is not clear, cannot snorkel, the spa services are extremely overpriced, gf saw bar staff pouring bottle water in an alcohol bottle, some portions for dinners are small, food at steak house and spice hibachi grill was poor. Wish they had later activities, the night ends at 11-12 leaving much to desire for night time fun "

"Reservations were very hard to make. You have to wake up at 6:30am and go stand in line to possibly get a reservation. Other than that well worth the money and a beautiful resort!"

"Wonderful trip in the el beso building at ocean riviera. Our room was outstanding and adding the privilege membership was well worth it. Our butler/host, Ariz, was incredible and set up our reservations (even managed to get us in to the tepanyaki restaurant one night when the place was full and no reservations were available!) Between Ariz and Angel we were so well taken care of - highly recommend them both and this resort!"

"Cuando me quise registrar en la recepcion Edgar, el de recepcion, fue muy grosero y me dio una respuesta muy cerrada al momento de yo no tener una identificacion. Cuando yo tenia todos los comprovantes de ser la persona en ocupar la reservacion. Yo sabia que se arreglaria todo pero el me dijo que no podia hacer nada!!! Pues es el precio del hotel es para tratar a los habitantes con cortesia y el fue muy grosero y falta de etica profesional. Nunca se me pidio una disculpa ni de parte de el ni del supervisor. "

"Nice resort, newly built and nice design. Rooms were nice, views were beautiful, restaurants were all good aside from Hunters and Rio. The staff were extremely attentive, the service was excellent. The beach was very poor, it is located next to mangroves so it smelled bad and the water was dark brown and filled with seaweed all week. From discussions with locals, the beach is always like that which is unfortunate. The beach was also closed one day due to crocodiles that inhabit the area. More lunch options would have been nice, the food trucks are a good idea but there were consistently long lineups."
