"This resort is wonderful and met all our expectations and beyond! Quick and easy check in- no long waits and well staffed. Super clean resort! Food was plentiful and so many options- nobody will be going hungry! Pools were super clean, never overcrowded as multiple pools are available for any reason you might be staying- children, couples, partiers- there’s a pool for each type of traveler. Nights provided entertainment and my only complaint would be that some of them didn’t start til 9pm… by the time they started we were ready for bed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! "

"I visited Riu Resort in Cancun, Mexico, and the experience was absolutely amazing. Everything was excellent — from the cleanliness and comfort to the organization and overall service. The food was delicious and very diverse, with many great options to choose from. I highly recommend this resort to anyone planning to visit Cancun. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, especially RIGO and MIRNA who work in the restaurants. They provided outstanding service, were very kind, and made us feel welcome every time. Thank you to them and to the entire hotel team for such a wonderful experience. I will definitely come back again! "

"Overall 5/5 experience, a few things to mention separately that might help future travelers: -Beach Club is awesome BUT if you get there anytime after 1030am you WILL NOT get a lounger, limited spaces -Shuttle to the beach club starts running at 10am (as we were told) but I saw them coming earlier and thats misleading. The line forms at like 930am and one time we waited 45 min -if all "free" loungers are taken there are "upgrades" for 90$ a day and 300$ a day but if you dont wanna pay, you can always go burn at the beach without any shade - the drink service to the loungers is slow but if you walk to the bar, its a whole lot better, JESUS the bartender is a speed hero with a photographic memory aparently cause he remembered our drinks and would have them ready if he saw us walking towards the bar, by the time we reach the bar - the drink is waiting, HE IS THE BEST and made our experience exceptional, give that man a raise, he is a beast! Rooft Top Pool/VIP area 3/5: - why is that pool FREEZING??? its sooooooo cold even when its scorching hot outside, is that to keep people out? -limited "free loungers" but youn can pay for the "upgrade" 50 bucks for same loungers Restaurants: -if you dont make a reservation at 9am (same day) youre not eating! They turn us away -service is so slow! -portions are tiny! -breakfast buffet is FIRE -Vantage Club IS THE BEST! All bartenders were GREAT! The cookies are my favorite! Worth it! I wish I could write more!"
