The staff was incredibly welcoming. Food and entertainment was lovely. Although it is high seaweed season and we knew this before booking... the hotel did an amazing job cleaning. The drinks where delicious and staff cared for peoples safely. Will be returning.

The resort is amazing , we had a good time , beach and food are excellent I have one complaint, I sent an e mail a week before arrival requesting to be in building 26 we booked preferred swim out, on arrival on September 6, 2PM , the gentleman on preferred check in asked me if I want to upgrade up and pay $300 which I declined and I mentioned to him that his letter given to me few minutes earlier indicating we are gold status and entitled to free upgrade if available and obviously there was availability and I requested building 26 a week earlier, he said not available so I asked for building 25 as those buildings close to the preferred restaurant, bar , lounge and preferred beach area and because there will be shade in the swim out in the afternoon , he said 25 is available, we went to lunch then received a call that our room in building 16 which the other side of the resort away from the preferred area and were we stayed I appreciate a response from the manager

This experience was definitely out of this world for us! From check in to check out it was a well oiled machine!! Any issues are taken care of right away with the up most care! Our concierge Roberto was absolutely incredible, from our room tour to scheduling dinners/events I still cannot believe how amazing the staff was!! You want cleanliness while enjoying the most amazing views of nature this is it, they will be in your room 3 times a day, cleaning or restocking your room! We got to see the amazing resort cats, lizards, and racoons that were very in sync with the luxury life at secrets!! Absolutely recommend!!

The property itself was undergoing some construction but my husband I were able to look past this due to how lovely the entire staff was. Always going above and beyond trying to assist us and make our trip a memorable one. The food was great at every restaurant and the beach was also very well kept.

My boyfriend and I stayed for our one year anniversary and it was such a romantic getaway. They made the entire time special, with dessert and champagne in room every night, decorating our door, and making sure we were pampered the whole time. Food was good - would rate it 3.5/5. Seaweed was controlled on the beach and there was plenty of pool chairs. The night shows were a whole production and phenomenal.

Smaller and easily walkable adults-only hotel with excellent service and dining options, a lovely beach. It never felt crowded, we never had to wait long, if at all, to get into restaurants. Rooms were very clean and well equipped, and the while property felt well looked after. The service was probably one of the best.
