Biloxi is a city in Southern Mississippi, located along the Gulf of Mexico in Harrison County. Gulfport is the nearest city to Biloxi. The Biloxi Shuckers are a Minor League Baseball team who play at the Donal Snyder Community Center. Guests can start their vacation by leaving their hotel to visit the Beauvoir Estate on Beach Boulevard, which was the home of the President of the Confederate States Jefferson Davies.
Interstate 90 is the main highway in Biloxi. Mississippi Highway 15 joins Interstate 90 in Biloxi, making navigation quick and easy. The Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport (GPT) is the closest airport, located on Airport Road in Gulfport. The Edgewater Park/Beauvoir area is where most visitors stay when they visit because of the quick access to the Gulf Coast, local historical stops and Interstate 90.
The Miss Teen USA Pageant has been held in Biloxi for several years. Every year, people come to Biloxi to see WWE wrestlers participate in live matches at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Biloxi hosts many annual events, which include the Crawfish Music Festival, held in April at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center, and the Blessing of the Fleet in June. The Biloxi Seafood Festival occurs in September at Point Cadet, and Cruisin' the Coast is held in October at several spots throughout the city.
