After a long and hectic day of travel, we were genuinely grateful for how calm and peaceful this stay felt. The evening passed quietly, allowing us to relax and unwind without distractions. We slept well and woke up feeling refreshed and ready to continue our plans. Sometimes a smooth, uneventful stay is the best kind, and this one delivered just that.

Arrived, staff was very COLD. Our room had no heat in 30 degree weather. Heater was broken. Asked for blankets but received two thin, what seemed like a bedspread not a blanket! The fire alarm kept going off over 7 times for no reason. I have been treated for the last 30 years for severe ear problems. I was crying because of ear pain from noise of the alarm. I was in agony. Old tub was extremely slippery and was told they had no mats. The room felt dirty. Needless to say, we checked out in the morning. I paid for 3 days and stayed only one. Manager would not speak to us or refund any money. I was charged for three! What a pitiful place.

The fire alarm went off late each night and early morning - supposed to be fixed first day but wasn’t. Tub was very slippery and unsafe. Breakfast was almost gone each morning and cold. But at least beds were comfortable. Hallways were desperately in need of updating.

Unfortunately for this hotel they had water heaters which were large water heaters sitting in the middle of the first floor. There was no handicap access for my Mom because the elevator was broken. We had to climb to the second floor to get to our room and take our luggage. My handicap Mom also had two climb the stairs. I did ask for a room on the first floor and the front desk associate said there were not any. Since I had purchased the room through hotels.com there is nothing they can do.

Wingate by Wyndham Biloxi/Ocean Springs 📍 7827 Lamar Pool, Biloxi, MS 39532 Unfortunately, this hotel was very showing its age. The property felt old and run down, and overall cleanliness was questionable. The elevator was not working during our stay, which made getting around difficult—especially with a child. Common areas, stairwells, and floors appeared worn and dirty, with visible damage and poor maintenance throughout the building. The hotel did not feel well cared for, and it did not meet the standards I expect from a Wyndham property. I would not choose to stay here again and would recommend looking at other options in the area.

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed at … the elevator was not working and the made me carry all my bags by hand to the third floor using the stairs … throughout the night and day the fire alarms would go off randomly … the front desk staff was so rude and always hiding in the back room. We stayed here for several weeks in late November to mid-December and it was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had. The property felt unsafe, unsanitary, and inaccessible: our room and the hallways smelled strongly of mold/mildew, and we both developed ongoing breathing and sinus issues during the stay. Fire alarms went off at random hours, there were leaks inside the building, the elevator and vending machines didn’t work, and housekeeping was basically nonexistent. The hotel advertises itself as ADA compliant because of the elevator, but the elevator was out of service the whole time. One of us has a broken foot and cannot use the stairs, so we could not practically use the room and had to stay elsewhere at additional cost. Staff were often rude and unhelpful, and some even spoke negatively about the business and owner in front of guests. We reported all of this through the booking site and directly to the property and never received any meaningful response or resolution. In our opinion, this hotel should not be operating in its current condition, especially while claiming ADA accessibility. We would not stay here again and do not recommend this property.
