Well there are two ways to look at it. Utilitarian- clean, temp was good bed was pretty good and the one interaction with the staff was pleasant. We didn’t eat breakfast, but it seemed typical hotel breakfast fare. All good things. The other way to look at it would be more convenience/comfortable. I was disappointed the second I saw the hotel. It was gorgeous in the picture but old looking in real life. Certainly not where I would have picked for a night way with my husband. We had a different hotel booked but plans changed so I cancelled them and later decided to be more frugal- I apparently was. The rooms appear have been”updated “ but there were several

Rude front desk clerk when we checked in. Thin walls and had to listen to our neighbor’s VERY LOUD TV until 3:30 am. They kept going on the balcony smoking all night which the smell went into our room. A different clerk checking out the next day and she was also rude. The ONLY pleasant employee on staff was the lady taking care of the breakfast room the next morning. I believe her name was Alena. She had an accent from Europe. She was so gracious and kind. She exhibited excellence in her job.

The room seemed clean, but bathroom sink cracked all the way across the middle, curtains are not wide enough, patio was just big enough for 2 chairs in a tiny triangle, cracked in the shower wall, bent up towel bar, and little pillows. Staff were nice and cordial. Our last and only stay there.

We cheked in yesterday and the hotel is in very poor condition. The room is dirty, the bedding has stains, and the facilities are poorly maintained. We also felt uncomfortable during check-in. This does not match the price or the listing. I would like this issue to be documented and request a refund or compensation.

Desk clerks were friendly, breakfast was good and the staff in there were friendly also. I was disappointed that our room was not ready even after arriving an hour and a half later than our check in time. Other than that it was a pleasant overnight stay.
