"Strong smell in hallways (cleaning products). Wallpaper is peeling. Could use reno. Great location for events at Lincoln Center. Lobby and entrance get crowded and lines can be long to check in. Staff was very pleasant and helpful."

"This cute, boutique-style hotel offers a comfy stay in a perfectly located area. We were a short walk to the Beacon Theatre and other attractions, including Central Park. There are plenty of food options and a convenient subway stop close by. Our room was clean and more spacious than it looked from the hall since it was located in a quirky corner. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the attached bakery was a nice perk. I would definitely stay again and recommend the Hotel Belleclaire to friends and family."

"Dirty...everywhere. The ac unit barely worked, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and loud, and you could hear a pin drop on the other side of the hotel (meaning you heard everything going on at all times). "

The response was "I'm sorry to hear that". Not sure what the point of asking is if there's no intention to rectify the situation."
