They must have a sewage problem. It smells like feces in every common area on every floor I have been to. The pungent fragrance starts at the entrance of the hotel and crawls up the building, chasing you all the way into your room. I get the rooms are meant to be small but there is no justification for poor cleaning and maintenance - I changed rooms and both showers had black mould all over the bottom. The windows of the room have shutters which are perfectly useless as it relates to screening sunlight. Bright and sunny in the room at 7 am, whether you like it or not. Location is great, and none of the hotel’s fault but this block seems to be a hot spot for junkies and homeless people. Staff was very nice, they somehow managed to keep a straight face despite the apocalyptic surroundings.

I loved this hotel, modern and a nice high ceiling with the bunk beds. It was roomy enough for two people doing some weekend traveling. We loved the area too, it was close to everything and right on the same street as the port authority too.

Very good location. It’s super close to Times Square, subway stations, plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. Great if you want to explore and don’t mind being in a busy, touristy area.

Basic but Location, Location, Location!

Nothing is “cheap” in Manhattan but this is about as good as it gets, especially considering its prime location. It’s basic. Bed, desk, bathroom, shower, but it’s a literal stone’s throw from Time’s Square. This was a great find and I would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

I love the location of the hotel. Walking distance to every where we wanted to go. The room was cute. I loved that the bunk beds each have their own tv. I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient and friendly!

They checked us in early and got us a room quickly, and were very friendly! They also provide luggage storage if you have a late flight hours after checkout so you don’t have to haul your luggage around the city all day.
