"The Maritime is accessible to many shops, restaurants and places to see. Very convenient. But – – the lobby, although elegant, for some reason has chairs and couches that are extremely low to the ground. They’re uncomfortable to sit in – – or eat breakfast in – – and they’re difficult to get out of – – especially for those of us you are a bit older. The restaurant and bar off of the lobby were closed due to renovations. When they reopen, that will be a huge improvement."

"Very small rooms with very little room for storage. I wasn’t a fan of the non standard bathroom facilites just a glassed in toilet and separate shower but the shower water pressure was good. The bed was comfortable. I would give 5 stars to the staff everyone we encountered check in, Lobby bar and housekeeping staff were extemely friendly and helpful. Called twice fo additional supplies and they were delivered to our door in 5 minutes. The hotel is in a nice location outside the bustle of times square fifth ave but close enough for easy walking. "

"Cute room with all of the drinks included. Environmentally friendly as everything was made of paper, glass or metal. The room had floor to ceiling windows which allowed tons of natural light. The included breakfast was actually really good, we had feta omelette and they were not your standard continental fare. Location wise, it’s convenient to get to the 1 train, or just 4 blocks from the F & M trains. "

"Sauna was great, building is old but beautiful. Rooms were very clean, staff were helpful. It’s very accessible to most shops, wine shop a few doors away, target was 5 minutes away, lots of places to eat and shop, you can walk to Macy’s and time square. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would go back. "
