Place was trendy looking but that’s it. The check-in desk was terrible and it was never informed about my credit so I didn’t use it and I’m kind of upset about that. Our room which I paid extra for a suite was absolute joke. Only two towels every day no bathmat and the shower flooded every time you try to take a shower. The sofa inside the room was broken so it couldn’t be sat on the drapes didn’t open and one window so you had to manually open one and close them. I asked Maintenance to fix this and they said they could do it in the morning and we are made sure we were gone in the morning so they could get it done and it was never done. Also, the closet was broken for $450 a night a room should be usable. This was an absolute joke. I told the downstairs and they said that the only option I had was to pack up my stuff and that they could get me a new room which was an absolute waste of my time and I wasn’t going to pack up all my stuff by noon and change rooms, but that was a complete waste of my time and my day in New York. I don’t know why they couldn’t have just fixed what I said, but they didn’t. The breakfast counter food was OK but nothing great. We tried going to the rooftop bar and make a reservation and what an absolute joke that was. I asked for a table she begrudgingly got us a table. Someone came by with two waters and we sat there for 30 minutes and finally said nope and just left without anything. This pretentious, ridiculous bar needs to not even exist.

We arrived at check in time (3pm) and were told that our room would be ready in 10-20 minutes and that we’d get a call when it was ready. We never got the call. I went to the desk two hours later at 5pm and they said our room was still not ready. They put us in a larger room which we appreciated but the extremely long check in delay affected our plans since we needed to get into our room at 3 to get ready. The lack of updates was very frustrating.
