Oklahoma City Will Rogers World (OKC) airport is named after the world's first frequent flyer. The airport is just a short drive from downtown on I-44, following the signs to your terminal. Parking is plentiful at the airport, but you can also get there on the Jefferson Bus Line, the Soldier Express Bus or the Union Bus. Taxis and shuttles are also available to give you a ride. Flight times are usually just under three hours to the Cancun (CUN) airport. There you can rent a car or take a taxi to the city. Limos and shared shuttles can also be hired. The best route into Cancun is the Cancun-Chetumal Highway.
Major Cancun attractions include Chichen Itza, the Cancun Underwater Museum, the Belize Barrier Reef and Isla Contoy. You can also see Sistema de Ojos, Xcaret Park and Coba. Baseball games can be attended at Beto Avila Stadium and soccer games can be seen at the Andres Quintana Roo. Annual events held in Cancun include the Mayan Village Show, Carnival, Cinco de Mayo and Day of the Dead.
The weather in Cancun averages 70 degrees in the winter and 90 degrees in the summer. The best places to find lodging are the downtown area, Puerto Jaurez and Playa Mujeres. You can easily get a flight to other Mexican cities as well as destinations in the United States and Canada.
