"We had a quit two day stop in NY and this was a great location. Clean and a great break from the outside. The Staff helped me understand charges and how to take advantage of some of benefits i got for using my AMEX. The staff was friendly and aware. This was during during the World Cup and just after NY Knicks won the Championship. We felt safe and really enjoyed our stay. The room was big enough for the four of us. Was right about the Grand Central Station, VERY convenient for using the subway!!! Will stay here again, if we return."

"I have stayed at Pod39 twice and have been very satisfied based on the reasonable price. It is like a chic dorm room, very streamlined to basic essentials in terms of furnishings, design of the bathroom and the room is quite small. What is great is maid service everyday making the bed, new towels, etc. Pod39 is also a great location right next to Grand Central Station to take the subway system within walking distance to major cultural places like the Museum of Modern Art. They also serve a complimentary breakfast. My only recommendations are to provide a few more toiletry items and perhaps a few free breakfast items."

"The room, location, and stay in general were 10/10. The staff, however, wasn’t very helpful when we asked for help with a taxi service to the Airport very early in the morning. We asked for a taxi (which is less expensive than a black SUV) and confirmed the service the night before. When the car arrived, it was a black SUV, I asked again stating it was a regular taxi and they confirmed pricing with me which was the main difference to us. We did not have time to request another service and ended up using it but it was definitely not the initial pricing we received, plus there was a 10% charge for credit card payment and ended up being more expensive than the regular taxi service."
