The location was excellent. We spent most of our time at the Henry Ford so this location was perfect. It was a very quiet neighborhood, very peaceful. The beds were very comfortable, and all the appliances were new. The kitchen and living area were very comfortable. Based on the reviews, it appears this is a new listing to VRBO. I think it could be an excellent place, but it felt like the house just wasn’t ready for renters. The kitchen and living area were complete, except that about 1/2 of the listing amenities were not present. The bedrooms and bathroom seemed incomplete- doors were scuffed up, and needed painting. Curtains were hung incorrectly- not matching or inside out. Papers had piled up outside. I know they wash the bedding after clients leave because when we arrived all the beds were unmade, and the bedding including comforters were in the dryer, still wet. I had to dry all the bedding and towels, and make up all the beds. There were fed ex or Amazon packages on the front porch that were picked up by the host’s relatives while we were there for 2 of the days we were there. The host did indicate to me that he was traveling and having connection issues.
