An enormous amount of money for a tiny, sparse room. The architecture and finish work, especially in the bathrooms is wonderful, but unfortunately, overall bang for the buck just isn’t there vs the Shinola or Foundation Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Siren. We were in town to see a Detroit Tiger baseball game. The Siren is located super close to the stadium and is walkable to restaurants and shopping. The hotel is a boutique style hotel with rooms being very small. The bathroom though was large. The candy room bar was a lot of fun with unique offerings. Would definitely stay here again.

Great decor. True to era of the building. The bartender was polite and knowledgeable. Location of the hotel was close to the event I was attending.

The hotel, though clean, was dated and in need of updating. The room felt as if you were staying in an aunt's spare room. None of the furniture seemed to match in style, the bed was a bit lumpy, the room was tight in size, and the wardrobe cabinet was on the smaller side. There were no hooks or space to hold a winter coat...it is Detroit! The shower, though large, only had a ceiling faucet. The Siren would be a perfect set for a movie from the 1930's. The lobby is very dark. There is a bar on the main floor but because it is small, reservations are required. Seems to be a hopping place on weekends. On the positive side, the staff is friendly, It is located near the downtown People Mover (free), there is a nice outdoor seating area, and it is relatively modestly priced. For a night or two, it is certainly satisfactory.

The room was substandard. A queen bed, very small chair, no nightstands, no closet. I felt like I was staying at a hostel. For almost $300 a night I expected so much more.

Unique hotel, being that it was built in 1926. Main attraction is its location to downtown/main area.
