Rooms are nice, clean and well appointed. Stayed one night for the Tigers game and found out they had a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes to the stadium, which turned out great. The hotel is easy to navigate, free parking no resort fees

When I went to my room, I realized they had placed me in a different room from the one I had booked. It was an accessible room for wheelchair users and it didn’t have a bathtub. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and when I checked the bed, the sheets hadn’t been changed. The pillowcases were dirty and there were crumbs on the bed. I went back to the front desk, and they quickly changed my room. This time, I was given the room I had originally booked: it was clean, and both the bathroom and the room amenities were great. The staff is excellent and very polite. There is only one breakfast option during the week, and the restaurants only open from 6 pm onwards. Since it is a casino hotel, there are many people who go there just to gamble and wander around the property, which didn’t make me feel very safe. I even witnessed a woman having a breakdown and being arrested in the hotel lobby.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Motor City Casino. The staff at the desk was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable. The food court was great with several choices. The Casino provided a shuttle bus to the event we were in town for. I would have given five (5) stars but retrieving our vehicle from the valet at check out was disappointing and left a negative mark on the entire weekend. Our vehicle battery was not only dead but the valet informed us that our vehicle was left at that spot the entire weekend. The windows were down on the vehicle and the contents of the center console were scattered on the seats. It was disappointing to not only find our vehicle in this condition but to learn that the the Casino did not attempt to contact us. No one from the Casino has reached out to us to address the situation.

Needs some work

The hotel needs some up keep The carpet is so stained and dirty that I didn't feel comfortable taking my shoes off. The chairs in the room are stained with what looks like spills. From what idk..but I couldn't sit in them. The bedding had stuff on it. We didn't use the bedding. We used our own. And won't be back here.

The 9th was dirty and nasty.. and also the room was OK but my Lenny had holes in it. I was in room 907 and I didn’t pay all that money for that room. It was terrible.
