"We got lucky and they upgraded us to Adult only resort and the infinity pools were beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even had an opportunity to swim with the sea turtles right in front of the Palace resort! "

"The pools and beach are beautiful. The property and rooms are well-maintained and clean. There are lots of food options at the buffet. We had a discrepancy between the specific resort we booked through Expedia and the room we were ultimately put in by the Barcelo Staff. It took two days to resolve this issue. There is clearly a disconnect between the Resort and how they categorize their resorts and rooms compared to how Expedia prices and books the resort rooms. The resort is also huge and encompasses six different resorts.. So if you are traveling with other people who are put in a room in a different resort, you may have a long walk to meet up at a buffet or pool with them. There’s Also, not a lot of promotion of the specific shows and activities that may be going on at the resort. It takes some research and investigation to find out all that is available to book and participate in."

"I went with my husband and 9 year old son. We all had an amazing time- this was our first time here and we will ABSOLUTELY be back. When we got home we already started planning our next trip back. The staff was SO kind, attentive, and helpful. The property was incredibly gorgeous, and all of the wildlife was magical. I loved how the trolly came every 15 minutes so we could get a quick ride if we needed to. I would give this property and experience a 10/10. THANK YOU !"
