Lake Horace is a short drive at the bottom of the long winding dirt road, with boat access and a small picnic park and beach. Just next door, Pats Peak Ski Resort is a dazzling backdrop overlooking the charming college town, with restaurants overlooking the Contoocook river with a quaint New England covered bridge.
