The Forum North tower rooms are horrible. The hotel needs to do better. Just because it’s smoking rooms doesn’t mean they should do bare minimum with the upkeep. My room was dark, super heavy smoke smell, phone didn’t work properly, No wash cloths for two days, carpet dingy & dirty, furniture old and dirty, tub drain rusted, refrigerator freezer door missing so froze all my juice. It was very challenging requesting wash cloths. I even went to the front desk to request some and still not delivered. I did not know the smoking rooms would be in an old building. I was trying to accommodate my husband who is a smoker but never again. The room was very outdated and dirty. I’m glad I always travel with cleaning products so I could clean up. The mirrors and lamps were dusty like they haven’t been cleaned in a week or more. I should have changed my room but it was late and my husband and I were very tired. I was very disappointed in the conditions of my room especially for the money I spent. The hotel housekeeping managers need retraining on how clean a room should be. Also, some of the front desk phone staff needs retraining on how to be pleasant over the phone and not sound bothered when a guest is calling for assistance. But the public space of the lobby and casino were well kept. Added plus that starbucks is in the lobby. I will give Caesars another chance in the future but I will definitely request a NON-SMOKING room in one of the other towers. My room was 1208.
