This 3 bedroom modern villa is detached and set in its own gardens with fruit trees and spectacular views of the sierra de Abdalajis directly in front of the villa.
The villa is on one level with ample parking and is fenced and gated. There is a large covered terrace area with table and seating to enjoy drinks and food in the hot summer months while staying cool. The terrace opens out to a large patio and pool area and a BBQ kitchen area where you can cook delicious flame grilled meats and vegetables. There are spectacular views of the white village below and the mountains which form part of the Guadalhorce Valley and the famous El Chorro gorge with the Caminito Del Rey. On the other side of the mountain are the lakes of Ardales with kayaking, canoeing as well as rock climbing, hiking, birdwatching and swimming.
Valle de Abdalajis is also a center for free flying with paragliders and hang gliders are often seen when conditions are right making an interesting pleasant spectacle while enjoying a drink from the terrace.
The Caminito Del Rey is just 5kms away at El Chorro so the property makes an ideal base to enjoy the surrounding experiences and delights southern Andalusia has to offer.
Additionally there are the ancient tombs of the Dolmites in Antequera and the geological sites of El Torcal just a 30 minute drive away. Also there is "Lobo Parc" a world famous wolf reservation which has guided tours and howl nights where visitors can interact with the wolves.
The villa is well insulated for the winter and cool in the summer and its location afords it a constant cool breeze during the hot summer months. During the winter there is a log burner in the living area which keeps the whole house warm. Additionally there is air conditioning in the living area and ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
There is a flat screen SMART TV in the living area and outside a sound system which can connect to your phone to play music.
Once you arrive you won't want to leave....we never do!
