The rooms were not properly furnished. There was no dressers/draws for clothes storage and a very small closet to hang coats, shirts, etc. The seating was inadequate … one office chair and two ottomans. We could relax and sit to watch news/tv. The existing furnishings included a business white board with eraser …. Why ? And, other useless pieces. No bed side table … just a high desk type with rollers … terrible. Also, no type of night light to get to the bathroom … not good. We left earlier than our original reservations and moved to a neighboring hotel to be comfortable.

We arrived Thurs late afternoon. We decided to take showers Sat. night and the shower head didnt work. We tried to call the front desk but there was no option for it on the phone. I tried pressig 0 and got the message "invalid." The sink backed up.The toilet was below standard size. The heater blew hot air across my bed as it was butted up against the bed and there was no way to control the air flow. I had to build a two layer wall of pillows next to me to stop the air from rustling the pillow cases and blowing on me. The usb outlets were loose and the list goes on. The staff was very nice but not especially knowlegable. We have stayed in three different hotels in Norwalk while visiting our son and his family and this room was way below par. The place needs a serious makeover including staff training and I would not recommended it to anyone. I rarely write negative reviews, I just move on. However this experience was just awful. They did take something off our bill for the inconvenience which I think was fair

I stay here often. It only adds 5 minutes to the trip between Boston and DC, makes a convenient stopping place, and is always clean comfortably, and has friendly employees. The price, in general, is good, though has some variability and it's worth the slightly higher amounts when it goes up for the consistency.
