The rooms had been renovated since our last visit and they were amazing. The staff was very friendly and took care of our needs immediately. We had breakfast and the pancakes were the lightest and most flavorable of any I had ever had. Definitely will be back. We always explore Wetumpka. Love the scenic area.

The room could’ve had working shades and a switch to let it up and down. The hotel front desk didn’t explain which elevators to take and that room key was required to operate elevators. The fire steakhouse shouldn’t require reservations and this should’ve been relayed to casino guest. It shouldn’t take outside reservations. Only hotel&casino guests and we shouldn’t need reservations as paying hotel guests.The bars should both stay open later on weekends.1:00AM . Our stay wasn’t the. Best for a 4 star hotel. The BBQ at dinner didn’t.set well with our stomachs. The machines on gaming floor would not take drink orders. Service even reset 2 of them for us and they still didn’t work! On another machine our beer order was accepted but we never got the beer. Yes, we were disappointed in our stay in Wetumpka Al. Especially on a valentines weekend!

The room was not as pictured in the ad, but housekeeping made up for it. The wifi was horrible and I was told that it was not compatible with a personal computer. I bought my sister there for her birthday and I remained in the room to study for the Bar exam and although tech came up, the checkout desk told me that their wifi was only compatible with business computers! Totally unacceptable for a 5-star hotel and this should be noted when they list their amenities. Very unhappy. It put me three days behind in completing my law review lessons.
