I stayed here for the recent Huntsman Senior Games in St George. While I'd be tempted to say this was really far away, most of my driving actually invovled getting around in St George. The hwy to St G is 2 lane divided and not slow so 50-60 most the way. Plus if you are on your way to Zion, this is really on the way. Most important if you have a boat or bikes or other machinery, the place has a huge back yard with rolling gates locked from the inside. Your mountain bikes will remain safe. The house is comfortable. FYI, the house is on the older side but updated with wooden floors and has a central heat pump. Apparently you can sleep 10 in the house by law, but unless 2 of those are kids you will probably be uncomfortable. there are 4 separate bedrooms with double beds. The only problem might be with a bunch of people is the 2 bathrooms are in a bedroom and the bedrooms are connected (2 up and 2 down). Dogs liked the place, the had room to roam and do their business, you need to pick up daily though as the flies appeared quickly. The owners (Tim ((I think)) and his wife) were very attentive in case I needed anything but didn't have an issue. Lots of fast food in Hurricane and some sit down places so you can eat out but kitchen has full compliment of wares. if I had a complaint it would be the grill is charcoal which i find a pain when traveling since it takes longer to get ready if you just want to chill. I'd have no issues coming back next year.
