Farm View Cabin, Kelsale

Soak up the countryside and gaze at the stars from the king size bed under the skylight in this simple, rustic accommodation in rural Suffolk. In the winter cuddle up beside the little gas fire and, in summer, enjoy the wildlife and solitude outside. Adjacent to the cabin is your private WC and wash basin and, literally 30 steps (with average length legs!), there is the large private and simple wet room.

You’ll find everything here that you need to truly escape from the world for a short while. Don't expect luxury but, if you're looking for a 'back to basics' break you'll be happy here.
The kitchen area has a one ring hot plate and a tiny grill so you can cook basic meals, plus a toaster/waffle maker, a kettle, and even a small fridge with freezer box (volume 32g and 2g respectively). Please note that there's no hot water actually in the cabin and cloakroom so we suggest that you heat water in the kettle if needed, and there' ample hot water in the wet room.
There’s room to unpack and settle in with an open wardrobe with pigeonholes for nick-nacks and zipped storage box for jumpers etc. Eye masks are supplied so you can choose not to be woken by the sunrise in the summer but still enjoy stargazing through the skylight.
For a complete retreat we hope that you won't miss the lack of Internet; there is 4G and guests are welcome to use the internet in the owners' house if you need to check messages etc.

ADJACENT CLOAKROOM
Step out of the cabin and just eight steps to the left is the private cloakroom, simply fitted with a toilet and wash basin.

PRIVATE WET ROOM
Literally 30 steps (with average length legs!) from the cabin is the large private and modern wet room. In the corner are both a rain and hand-held showers, a WC, and two wash basins. There’s also a washing machine which you’re welcome to use, and a hairdryer.

OUTSIDE
At the front of your accommodation is a wooden deck surrounded by a wild garden and fields. To the side is a romantic dining space, covered or not depending upon the weather with benches and a table where you can make the most of the outdoors.
Being a wooden construction BBQs and candles are strictly prohibited but please enjoy a fire in the fire pit in front of the cabin.
This free-standing accommodation sits behind Farm View House; a beautiful private period house with a couple of guest rooms with en-suite bath/shower rooms. Please respect other residents and owners by keeping the noise to a minimum, particularly after 10pm.

LOCATION
This romantic cabin is located in the large grounds of Farm View, a beautiful private house in a quite spot at Curlew Green, on the outskirts of Saxmundham, just 20 minutes from the picturesque seaside town of Aldeburgh and village of Sizewell.

There’s a curtain on the door and windows for privacy but no covering on the skylight so you may want to use the eye masks provided – we can’t control the dawn chorus so please enjoy that!
Whilst we do our best, we also can’t promise that spiders won’t decide it’s a nice place to stay being in the heart of the countryside!
