"We stayed at Almar and thought the location and amenities were great. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made our stay enjoyable. However, we were disappointed by how expensive everything was. It felt like you had to pay extra for almost every single thing, even the most basic amenities. For the price of the hotel, it would be nice if they offered an all-inclusive package or included more in the room rate. Overall, it's a fun place to stay with a great atmosphere, but the constant extra charges really took away from the experience. We'll definitely be visiting Puerto Vallarta again, but we'll probably choose a different hotel next time because the overall cost just wasn't worth it."
