Vacation for a week with 4 couples. The home is as advertised. Decently close to town, the drive to grace bay did get a little old. That is where the activities and most of the restaurants are. However, omars was a great stop and close. Did not get into chalk sound since there was a step missing on the stairs. We used the pool, kitchen, common area, ping pong table, tvs, and pool.

What a beautiful property but not the best experience unfortunately. I chose this beautiful villa for the location and the gorgeous views for my birthday celebration. The first few days were good. However, the day of my birthday we were stuck inside the house with NO air conditioner and NO running water. I communicated this with the owner and he advised me he would get on it instantly. Unfortunately, me and my entire group of 8 were stuck in the house all day while we waited for all services to be rendered. This caused me to have to cancel our reservations for excursions and my birthday dinner for that day (deposits lost as well). We were refunded a small portion of the money but we don’t feel it sufficed as we lost time and money being stuck in the home with toilets filled with feces and urine and a home with no air conditioner in the hottest summer month.

What a view!

House is everything described and more. Two families with teens had a great time. The kayak right off the patio is so nice! During our stay, it was very windy so we couldn't swim at Grace Bay but thank goodness we had Sapodilla Bay Beach (more commercial, you can rent chairs, umbrellas, jet skis here) and Taylor Bay Beach. These beaches are only 3-5 minutes from the house and perfect for lounging in shallow water with minimal waves, even on a windy day. Great for little kids. Half Moon Bay is the most incredible beach - we reached it via a 4 hour snorkel and beach tour (Caicos Dreams). Highly recommend this activity - the kids loved it. Also kayaking through the mangroves, super fun 1 hour activity. Las Brisas, Mango Reef, Da Conch Shack - yum. All close by. Great stay!

We enjoyed Villa on Chalk Sound

This is our third time visiting Turks & Caicos and second time staying in a VRBO on Chalk Sound. The Villa on Chalk Sound was perfect. The back decks, pool, with access to the sound was amazing. We enjoyed the kayaks and being so close to Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay beaches (by far the most beautiful beaches on the island, not a steep drop-off like you find in Grace Bay). This house was fully stocked and ready for our family and friends! It was nice to have two master bedroom set-ups so we didn't have to draw straws. The ping pong table/game room area was also a hit when the kids had too much sun and too much fun in the water. *Took us a day or two to realize that the washer and dryer was downstairs and access is outside, down the stairs by the sliding glass door in the kitchen! We highly recommend! Another travel tip: FLY DELTA ONLY TO PLS. :)

Excellent location, excellent house

We spent 8 nights in this great house. While there were a few items that needed attention, the owner was very responsive and fixed them all with very little inconvenience to us. The kitchen is really well stocked with everything you could ask for to cook a big meal. They even had a waffle maker, blender, and 2 toasters. The beds were comfy with plenty of extra linens. The pool was pretty to look at, but way too cold to a swim in (December stay). That was fine for us, as the dock leads directly to Chalk Sound. The 2 kayaks were a nice touch (includes life jackets, paddles, and various swim toys and snorkel gear). Also, we always felt safe in the neighborhood.

Beautiful property on the chalk sound. Home had everything we needed and is very spacious. We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling on the sound. The Pool was awesome. Waking up to the chalk sound views were spectacular. Area is very quiet and we felt safe. We were a group of 10 (4 adults, 4 kids and 2 teenagers). Loved how close we were to Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay beaches. We would definitely stay again at Chalk Sound Villa!!!
