Communication with the property management company was terrible. It could only happen directly by phoning them and not through VRBO. That said, once we realized that, it was much better. Apartment itself was open and spacious but there is no A/C. There's also a lingering smell of cigarettes from before but I suppose that's Paris for you. Finally, everytime we turned the stove on, we couldn't put anything else on in the room or it would trip the electric box.

Un calvaire - A fuir

Nous avons réservé 5 nuits pour cet appartement, proposé par votre partenaire Belvilla et géré par checkmyguest à Paris.Nous avons réglé la totalité à la réservation: 2106Nous n’avons pas séjourné dans l’appartement compte tenu des conditions d'hygiène déplorable (cf photos), nous avons immédiatement contacté checkmyguest pour exposer la situation et leur demander l’annulation et le remboursement du séjour. Nous leur avons adressé les photos.Nous avons dû à la dernière minute trouver une solution de logement alternative à nos frais. La situation dans laquelle nous nous sommes trouvés a été très contrariante et stressante et financièrement dommageable.Dans les premiers échanges par mails, notre interlocuteur chez checkmyguest nous a dit comprendre notre demande et faire le nécessaire auprès du gestionnaire de l’appartement pour obtenir le remboursement.Il est désormais de mauvaise foi, prétextant que c’est un simple retard de ménage. Cela fait 5 jours que nous n'avons plus de nouvelles et nous n'avons reçu aucun remboursement.C’est une triple peine : - la sidération d’entrer dans un appartement qui ressemble à un squat- le stress de devoir trouver une solution, de logement alternatif à la dernière minute et à nos frais- devoir se battre pour obtenir le remboursement de la location qui a été entièrement réglé en avance. Nous avons le sentiment d’avoir été abusés par des personnes sans scrupules, sans respect pour leurs clients et cupides.
