The location of this small apartment was unbeatable! Close to so many Paris landmarks: the Louvre, the Jardin de Tuileries, the Plaza de la Concorde, etc. Many options to eat just downstairs on the Rue di Rivoli. The apartment itself was cute and had all the necessities except for air conditioning, which was unfortunate as our stay fell during a heatwave which made it nearly unbearable. We had to change to a hotel room the last night of our stay. To be fair, air conditioning was not a listed amenity for the property, but when I asked the owner after booking if there would be air conditioning and cans to keep cool, he said yes. There were only two oscillating fans provided, no a/c. During a cooler season the apartment would be amazing. It felt safe and secure behind a locked door and then up one set of stairs, and was fairly quiet. The main bed was comfortable enough though a bit firm, but the futon was rock hard. If you’re going to put someone there I recommend bringing a foam pad or something to soften it up. Excellent value for the location though. I’d rate it 5 stars if it had air conditioning.
