Disgusting

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, we were told our reservation had been cancelled without any prior notice. After some time, we were finally given a room—but it was in unacceptable condition. The room was filthy. There were stains that appeared to be blood on the door, bed, and wall. Mold was visible on the side of the bed and on the ceiling. When we reported this to the front desk, they sent the lead housekeeper to clean the room. She insisted the stains were “just rust,” but the door was wooden—rust isn’t even possible on wood. The floor was also grimy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. To make matters worse, they failed to disclose an additional $200 security deposit at the time of booking. We only found out about it during check-in. While the hotel advertises itself as “dog-friendly,” that wasn’t our experience. There was no designated area for dogs to relieve themselves, and the surrounding grounds were covered in broken glass and trash. It was unsafe to walk our dog anywhere nearby. Even worse, the beach directly behind the hotel does not allow dogs, and you can be fined if you’re caught with one there. The room was uncomfortable, the conditions were unsanitary, and the staff was unhelpful. Despite the poor experience, they refused to offer any discount or compensation. We would have left for another hotel, but traveling with our dog made that difficult. I can usually overlook minor inconveniences, but this stay was not ok.

Will NEVER stay here again. The payment situation was an absolute mess, especially if you book through a 3rd party like Expedia. Be sure to check your bank account because it charged my card the full amount our 2nd day there but only stayed pending the whole time… and then got taken out a week later after it was already taken out before hand…There is a security deposit that is not mentioned FYI that is $50 PER NIGHT that is not part of the itinerary. They never bring you clean towels/ wash cloths, you have to go down to the desk to get them. The elevator was very slow and one of them wasn’t even working so it was easier just to take the stairs (mind you- we were on the 6th FLOOR!)

Provide kitchen sponges for washing dishes and cleaning countertops. Never given washcloths. Older property. Pool was nice, beach was perfect. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't fantastic. I didn't feel unsafe. Beds are hard, pillows were good. A little more cleaning could have been done in the room, mirror was filthy. We were on the 5th floor.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Avoid this property at all costs. I confirmed early check-in ahead of time, only to be given the runaround with changing times and no clear answers upon arrival. The staff was unprofessional, dismissive, and showed little regard for basic customer service. The experience was frustrating enough that I chose not to stay at all. Clearly, this place values money over guests, and it shows. Easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

#509 Must Be one of the bad ones 😥

Budget Friendly with Pros and Cons. The Pros: Its a good location. The balconies are beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was clean. The Cons: The drawers were falling apart and not functional in our dresser. Some of the outlets were loose and seemed dangerous. The counter in the kitchen had a huge gap and seemed carelessly installed. For these things to be corrected, it would probably cost very little for the hotel yet this room has been neglected. Neither mattress was in very good shape and not comfortable. I managed to sleep on it two nights before my back started hurting. We've stayed here on and off for 15 years. Never had a room in this condition here. Perhaps this one just slipped through the cracks. (Very much like the light switch in the bathroom that had a huge hole in the wall around the edges.) I will probably stay here again considering it has two AC units and both worked flawlessly.

The location was close to the places I wanted to visit. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Access to the beach was easy, The pool was clean. This location also had grills. We decided come a day earlier and stayed in two different rooms, first room had a huge hole in the wall next to balcony door, the door you had to slam shut. 2nd room (we stayed the remaining week) kitchen sink had a Continuous drip, The Toliet you had to wait for it to feel up with water then giggle the handle for it to stop. The appliances could be either painted or replaced for the appearance. But did work. If i was to change the lay out I would rather have the beds next to balcony door cause you hear everything in the breeze way Especially being located next to the elevators where we were. (Which only one elevator was working) I definitely would recommend blackout curtains.I had to hang my dresses in the window. To block out the light. This location had a big ice machine down stairs where you can purchase a 14lb bag of ice for $5. 👍 Had plenty of parking
