Summary:

Welcome to Barefoot Beach Resort, a laid-back spot on the best beach of Lake Huron. Cabin 8 is one of our only one-bedroom cabins—but with a spacious kitchen and living area, it definitely doesn’t feel small. The front patio and screen door open up to a clear view of the lake, just a short stroll from the beach.



Inside, you’ll find a comfy queen bed and a new pullout couch, plus a unique bathroom setup that’s somehow still makes sense. It’s a great fit for couples or a small family who want to kick back, cook a few meals, and enjoy the beach without overthinking it.



The Space:

For a one-bedroom, Cabin 8 is surprisingly roomy. The living area and kitchen are bigger than you’d expect, which makes it a nice option if you’re staying longer or just want to spread out a bit.

While it’s a couple cabins back from the beachfront, the screen door and patio open up to a direct view of Lake Huron. You’re still only steps from the sand.

Bring the marshmallows. The shared fire pits are right on the lake, and there’s nothing better than ending your day watching the fire crackle and waves roll in.

Guest Access:

To complete your booking process and get your Guest Access information you will be connected with Enso Connect Guest Experience app. Once you have completed your verification process you will receive your Enso "Boarding Pass" with your Guest Access information.

The Enso Connect guest verification process will require:

* Signing of rental agreement

* ID and selfie uploads



Guests will enjoy exclusive access to a private cottage at Barefoot Beach. The property is self-check-in, so please carefully read the check-in instructions prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Explore nearby Huron National Forest and the scenic Au Sable River. Immerse yourself in the local culture with charming shops and restaurants. With easy highway access to Alpena and Bay City, it's the perfect family-friendly retreat.



Getting Around:

Oscoda is a small, car-friendly town. Public transportation like buses or trains is unavailable, so having a car is recommended for exploring beyond town. Car rentals, taxis, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are accessible. Biking and walking are common, with various trails, beaches, parks, and recreational areas within easy reach on foot or by bike.



Other Things to Note:

• You will receive your Enso "Boarding Pass" with guest access details after completing verification, which includes:

-Signing the rental agreement

-ID and selfie uploads

• A non-refundable damage waiver is included in your total cost, covering more than minor wear and tear. Stays over 30 nights require a refundable security deposit if no damages occur (except Airbnb bookings).

• Discounts applied automatically:

-15% off for stays 7+ nights

-30% off for stays 30+ nights

• Extensions: Contact us for special offers.

• Starter Kit: Includes coffee, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Guests are responsible for additional supplies.

• **Local Guests: Prior authorization is required before booking**.

• Cancellations: Check your booking platform’s policy. Even for full refunds, a 4% credit card fee applies (except Airbnb & VRBO).

• Pets:

-$20/night, $100/week, $250/month (potty-trained dogs only).

-Preferably under 50 lbs—contact us for exceptions.

-Clean up after your pet & leash in common areas.

***Maintenance and inspections may be required during your stay. Please note that we cannot guarantee a specific timeframe or reschedule these visits. Any necessary work will be completed as quickly as possible to ensure the property remains in proper condition.
