Is conveniently located to visit Lisbon; it’s walking distance to downtown and to the Castle. At night, to listen Fado you just have to open the window and let it in....

The space
Cosy Alfama flat is located in the heart of Alfama and close to the Tagus river, it’s a 3rd floor – with no lift - of a newly remodelled typical Alfama building and accommodates up to 3 guests (+1 baby) – it’s not appropriate who has heavy luggage nor reduced mobility.

The entire building was remodelled, following the traditional Lisbon architecture. It features one bedroom (double bed), one living room (with double sofa bed) with a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and coffee machines) and a bathroom. You'll find all amenities you'll need at your stay - towels, bed linen, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are included.

For families with babies, the apartment is fully equipped with a crib, unbreakable dishes and a baby seats. Also features High-Speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV and heater. You’ll find everything you need to make the best out of you journey in Lisbon!

This apartment is located in the heart of the oldest and most genuine neighbourhood in Lisbon. It’s a calm and safe pedestrian cobbled street yet very exciting area. From here you can easily reach most of Lisbon attractions and discover the delicious and unique flavours of Lisbon: viewpoints of Portas do Sol, Graça and Senhora do Monte; St Georges Castle, Fado Museum, craft shops, cafes, restaurants, fado-houses and easy access to other typical neighbourhoods as Bairro Alto, Chiado and Baixa/Chiado. It is also within a walking distance from Santa Apolónia train and metro Station (10 min), the famous 28 tram (5 min), tuk tuks (5 mins) and buses.

When back at your apartment, you can just relax, opening the living room windows and listen Fado. At 12:00 am, the Fado’s houses closes, and the neighbourhood back to your silence, allowing the guest charge batteries for the next day, discover the fabulous city of Lisbon!

The apartment is your small retreat in Lisbon. You can feel like you are at home. I just have to ask you that this is a centuries old building so noise travels free. At night, keep the noise to a minimum and I am sure the other residents will do the same (quiet period - 10pm-8am).

Although we would like you to enjoy the apartment as much as possible, some rules need to exist so everybody has fun :)

First of all, no parties! It is not allowed access to guests who are not mentioned when booking the apartment. If you would like to receive guests please let me know who and why.

Absolutely no smoking inside the apartment. If you really need to, please do it near a window.

Please note that this apartment is in the heart of Alfama. DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE Lisbon celebrates it patron St. Antonio with street parties in Alfama. Every night until 2am from the streets are filled with stalls selling grilled sardines, sangria, wine & beer. At the last two weeks of MAY there are some noise on the street due to the construction of the stalls during work hours.
If you like a good street party you could not be in a better location. If you are looking for a quite holiday this is not the place to stay during the month of June.

City Tax Payment
We hereby inform you that from 01.01.2016 the city of Lisbon will begin to charge a City Tax of 4 euros per person, value which will not be included in the informed prices and in the total price of your reservation. This tax will be charged directly to the guest at the arrival. Tax value is 4 euroS per person per night up to a maximum of 7 nights in a row. Children up to 13 years old are excluded.

POPULAR FESTIVALS (JUNE):
This apartment is in the heart of Alfama. ALL OVER THE MONTH OF JUNE Lisbon celebrates street parties in Alfama. Every day until 2am the streets are filled with stalls selling grilled sardines, sangria, wine and beer. There is popular music playing until 2am.
On MAY, the last two weeks, there is some noise in the street due to the construction of the tents during the day.
If you want to live the true "spirit" of popular parties, this is the best location.
if you are looking for a quiet area, avoid this location in June.
